Keen to dive into XR’s role within the realm of international virtual exchanges, discovering how these programmes can be established and sustained as well as their potential for fostering inter-institutional student collaboration?
If so, you’ll be pleased to hear that we’ll very soon be welcoming Dario Fazzi, Professor of Transatlantic Environmental History at Leiden University and coordinator of a number of three to five week-long international virtual exchanges!
Tailored to explore the historical roots and contemporary developments of environmental democracy, Dario’s programmes give Leiden University students the opportunity to collaborate with those in academic institutions across the US. Together, amongst other tasks, they identify places of environmental distress on self-built digital maps and create digital content for VR videos.
To hear more about the motivations and processes behind Dario’s projects as well as their practicalities and potential future manifestations, do come join us!
