Meetup #39: Can Virtual Reality improve cardiac emergency outcomes?

For our May Meetup, we’re delighted to welcome Laurent Coopmans, Bram Schalkwijk, Morsal Atazadah, and Samuel Max from the Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC).

As part of the Leiden AI XR Research Group (LAIXR), the team will present VR’s potential to train our future cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals to prepare for the unexpected. Do feel welcome to take a look at the LAIXR website in the meantime to gain an impression of their work.
